I have the same combo and somehow it seems to AF quite a bit slower than what you're showing here.
I wonder what's up with that.

What firmware are you using? I'm still using v1.02.
Also the AF difference could be because of the Tamron's production quality is not so good...

Holy Smokes! Very Fast! Probably quite faster than using the k-x. I'd imagine there wouldn't be any complaint of autofocus speed with the tamron 70-200 2.8 using this combination.

No, for me there's nothing to complaining about with this combo (maybe a little about tamron built quality). I'm happy so far...
