Bob Weigel of http://www.sounddoctorin.com documents yet another atrocity committed seemingly to prevent him from getting out of town. lol.
When you see the UPS logo on something, you come to assume that there is some kind of accountability. In other words that if..say the ASO started lighting customer's packages on fire... that UPS would promptly remove their ASO status and SUE them if they continued dragging their 'good name' through the mud.

As you can see in this video this is not true. TWO SISTERS SHIPPING in Jewett City, CT shipped a 125lb Organ with..one layer of bubble on the ends in a box that was so short the ends bulged from the phenolic knobs that tighten the stand that rides underneath.

Naturally all the corners of this vintage piece were cracked and the hardware was torn out of the lid. Parts inside came loose. Rocker switches hanging there. Amazing it wasn't damaged worse really.

We paid for insurance. However all that happens in this case is...of course... ups denies the claim because it was under packed. There is no further recourse with ups. They do not care. You have to work it out with the aso from there. Absolutely zero support if they refuse to do anything.

Kim Maxson at the outlet claimed someone pulled padding out! LOL. WHERE? WHERE would it FIT? The box was shorter than the Organ!! Kim is obviously a liar. HAD I cooperated and lied along with her, UPS still would have denied the claim of course. I've seen them deny claims many times that have complete credibility.

Anyway so this is a functional insurance scam as well. BUT WE PAID THESE ..ahem...people... 371.00 TO PROFESSIONALLY PACK THIS VINTAGE COMBO ORGAN and SHIP IT FROM CT to MT. They did no such thing so it is a bait/switch scam in that way.

Kim wrote a threatening note saying if we told the truth basically (If I wrote an invoice like the one I wrote..which says exactly what happened in terms like those above and like shown in the vid) then we would get nothing.

------

http://www.twosistersship.com of Connecticut has a woman named Kim who was on the phone with us initially. She fully denied that it was possible they had underpacked this machine when we see clearly that the box was just WAY too short to safely project this massive 125lb organ, pedals, stand and music stand. I'd have probably shipped it in two boxes just to get the size down to possibly get into another 'class' and save some money. 370 dollars I was told Paul was charged on this machine. Would have been swell if I could have connected to pick up when I was back east. Yikes.

UPS needs to have some kind of accountability process though with people. I see they have the ups authorized shipper icon on their site. Good grief. So we paid for insurance and THEY packed it...it gets broken and we get nothing? I was saying one of two things in the video. If that wasn't clear I meant either UPS should cover the claim regardless of what their independent contractor or whoever does, OR they should see to it that THEY have some kind of insurance that of course dings them for higher rates if they are irresponsible and pull this kind of thing frequently. :-) In the former case UPS would eventually see the shippers who are causing more damage than others and deal with it.

  • Well Paul tells me yet another company underpacked that we paid to pro pack. Same deal. ASO for UPS. UPS denies the claim and we're hosed. Meanwhile...I never heard an answer from 'deemax' (Kim Maxson apparently) above. DID SHE just keep hassling UPS til they sent the 106.00? Or did that come out of her till? Because it would be fraud for the ASO to expect UPS to cover it if THEY leave no padding at all on the ends...for instance.

  • No, I will forward paul the check stub from UPS the claim was paid by them. Give it up, I stood by my word you need to get a life, your threats did nothing to make this outcome any different than it would have been. Ok, and tell me why I should pay for your poorly produced video slandering me? I'm done with this...I owe you nothing..you were not my customer!

  • @deemax71 Read my last reply. No need to do that. Paul got it YESTERDAY. I was just informed.

Now 'poorly produced' has the FACT that nobody paid for it. Was I supposed to hire a production crew when I'm not being paid? What kind of idiot are you? Should I have hired a production crew? THEN THE BILL WOULD BE WHAT..900 dollars?

I have a life lady. And part of it is teaching people like you that they can't LIE and CHEAT in a world where there is free press. WElcome to youtube.

  • @sounddoctorin And answer my question Kim> Did you defraud UPS by making THEM pay for a claim that was 100% your fault? UPS did nothing wrong. That was not packed to their standard. I'll escalate this to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL if you'd like. YOu just can't learn anything can you?

YOU LIED saying 'no claim will be paid' if UPS did pay it. But then we know you are a liar so that's nothing new. Did you pay it out of Pocket? Or did UPS pay it. Do tell.

  • Thanks for the heads up!

Your video came up in Google searching for "Two Sisters Shipping."

Guess I won't be using Two Sisters Shipping now! They were referred to me, but purely based on this review and the comments they left above, wow, there is no way I'm going to use them for my new eBay business.

I have a ton of stuff going out weekly now, I may keep doing it myself or find an alternate shipper, Two Sisters sounds like just another typical deadbeat outfit who lies, cheats & scams customers!!

  • @sounddoctorin CORRECTION. I just called Paul and he said a check for the repairs only (not the hundreds of dollars of time spent trying to get anything but nasty remarks after the INITIAL threat that if I sent the invoice telling the truth that we would get NO claim paid...BAD tact there Kim... costly mistake. LEARN from dumb mistakes and don't repeat them. Hot tip of the day)

NOW my QUESTION Kim..is did you pay this out of pocket or harass UPS til they said 'shutup, we'll eat it'?

  • @sounddoctorin (THIS was my response to Maxson's attempt to claim she had paid....along with spewing an attempted ad for her 'business'... I have received no money at all from her OR ups on this. If paul has received anything from UPS he hasn't told me about it. However WHY would ups pay when they told us they'd denied the claim? (And rightfullly so!) It's usually hard enough to get UPS to pay a claim that is LEGIT! LOL.)

  • @deemax71 HAD IT PAID? What are you talking about lady? I've gotten ZERO MONEY from this. You claimed to have sent a check. I've seen no check. SO..up go even MORE reviews! Enjoy. this is going to cost you hundreds and hundreds more than it would have if you'd just been a non-jerk and had paid for your underpacking MISTAKE.

  • @Sjobeck7 Apparently this company got some contracts. We see they had Lockheed a few years ago..not sure if they still do. I wonder what those companies would do if they knew the kind of stuff they are pulling. There is NEVER a reason the shipper (If integrable) wouldn't pick up the bill when there is ANY doubt in the customers mind that could potentially be legit that they packed it right.

What in the world do they think the video evidence is? If that isn't reasonable doubt..what is?

  • Totally Agree with you Bob! In my experience UPS have no integrity whatsoever!!!

Not only will they rough handle clearly marked "fragile" boxes, but they seem to take pride in breaking them! Obvious that they make more $ by then having to re-ship the item back to the original seller... I've encountered this a half dozen times already...! = I am DONE with UPS!!! Also, thank you for the tip on exposing twosistershipping. That sounds absolutely shameful = SCAM!!!!!
