Live at the Alternative Party 2008 in Helsinki, Finland, on October 24th 2008.

Excuse the lousy quality - This was shot with a Sony Ericsson W890i cell phone and whatever Youtube did to it didn't help. Sound is thankfully OK.

  • You can't see much, but at least the sound quality is surprisingly good.

It was indeed a fantastic gig. When it was over I couldn't believe it had lasted for almost 1.5 hours - I could have sworn it was just half of that.

  • I think Youtube compressed all 7 minutes of the video to one megabyte, which is why the image quality is very bad. The original video was much longer but I cut these two songs out of it to make it fit into Youtube in the first place.

Let's hope a full-length live recording will become available somewhere else.

  • It was a solid performance - with interesting visuals and a flawless execution. The kind of concert I like.

  • Would you like to upload some of the other stuff you also recorded? It's rare to see live material with such a good sound quality on youtube. I'd really apreciate it.

  • Hell. yes.

This would've been incredible to have witnessed, I admire everyone who has seen this.

  • Precisely! And that's why altparty ruled. so. fucking. much.

  • This was an absolutely fantastic gig. I was 2 minutes away from death by the end of it. Incredible show, feeling and so much inspiration for demosceners too. Where else can you see people in victorian era clothing or goths queuing up to play 80s arcade game machines, and then geeks, artists and music lovers all jumping to an awesome performance by 242.

  • Yeeeaaaaaahhhhh :-)
