so i got this corset, well not related to theirs and everytime i sit, or sit in the car the metal inside bends.. and now its messed up adn iv only worn it like 2 or 3 times.-.- :[

any suggestions? i got mine from fredricks of hollywood and it ties aound the neck..

@minely5885 Thanks for your question. It sounds like you probably got a "fashion corset" that is not meant to be tight laced and worn for only special occasions.  My suggestion would be to invest your money in an Authentic Corset. They have spiral steel boning and steel front busks that won't bend easily, and will last for more than 2 or 3 wearings. As far as what you can do with this one? I would suggest taking the boning out if its bent and can be easily removed. Then you can at least wear it for lingerie.

I own tons of leather riding boots and they really do stretch after a while, so is leather actually ideal corset material? It seems it would stretch out sooner than you'd like. Plus you'd have to oil your leather after a while.

@MissXMarlboro We haven't had any customers comment on the leather stretching or requiring oil. I do know that the corset has multiple layers and panels and that it is lined in 100% cotton, so that would help maintain shape and reduce wear on the leather. Is anybody out there familiar with leather chaps or pants? Do those items need oiling as well? Or do they stretch after lots of wear? Check the reviews below the product descriptions as well. We have several customers who wear theirs daily.
