It's in Arizona somewhere. I saw the same documentary, it's crazy they pay over a hundred actors to do this every day.

There was an amazing documentary made about this facility. About 2 hours showing what one unit encounters in this roleplay city. If I remember right its in the mojave desert. It's a very good thing to experience before being shipped off over to the sandbox

i think they picked that concept of roleplaytraining up from the germans which do that too for their balkan or afghanistan missions. basic knowledge of the local language and culture is mandatory for every german who is sent in another country with the military
