It seems inverted to me from what you say, but I don't care or whatnot

It's kind of funny. In the American ads, you can obvivously tell who is supposed to be the wimpy, nerdy, socially awkard geek and who is supposed to be cool and edgy and hip.
But in the Japanese ad, PC and Mac guy (facially and bodily) look the same.
In fact, in that case, PC guy's business suit makes him look more dominant.and powerful.

@tiaxanderson I have a mac and I completely agree. I love my mac, really I do, but as you said, I like being able to do it all myself. You know how to change things, you can alter as you see fit and you will never not know why something is where it is (because you put it there). I know there is dreamweaver and other programs like iWeb, and sure these programs may make it easier, but I think it takes away a bit of the creativity in the website. But, I do love my mac.

Nothing against the Mac, but I hate programs like iWeb. I rather code the site myself. This will allow me to adjust everything exactly as I want it *and* I know what the hell I'm doing (I'm not familiar with iWeb but I know most of the programs allow you to edit the source code, but that kind of beats the purpose of having such a program in the first place)

kiikasi, I don't want to disagree too much, because I agree PC sounds formal, but ステップ四(よん) was the only option here because ステップ四(し)doesn't work in this context, but I guess I could be wrong. But think how 1LDK and 3LDK are different, certain phrasing require certain numbers. Cheers

PC uses more formal Japanese as opposed to the Mac. The PC used "四 Yon" for four when it's a bit outdated. The more commonly used and casual one is "四 Shi" Notice how they both have the same symbol. It's really up to the individual for which to use.
THIS IS WRONG I HAVE A CORRECTION;
1. Pick a layout with iWeb
2. Add photos, write about anything you like
3a. PAY £100 TO SIGN UP WITH MOBILE ME
3b. One click to publish with Mobile Me.
4. Have some cheap coffee.
I love my mac, and iWeb is very funky, but eeesh.
I love these guys.
