Van Halen - Somebody Get Me A Doctor

This song is fun as hell to play...but then, so are most Van Halen songs.

By the way, anybody see the 2007 tour? I have...five times and counting!

And most of you should recognize the guitar...a near-perfect 5150 replica. I've built a few of these myself, but this isn't one of them. I got it from eBay, and I couldn't make it sound bad if I tried.

The backing track in this case isn't mine, it's from the Jam With Van Halen CD. I'm also using my Roland MicroCube, and an MXR Phase-90, into a MOTU 828mkII and through my KRK Systems Rokit 5 monitors.

The only thing I can imagine you mean is when I just combine a pick slide and a hand slide. I wouldn't even really call it a technique, because there's nothing to it.

I only see 1 thing wrong (other than your playing the wrong guitar). The chords at :31 are not a D5 to a D, try playing a G triad to a D.
