I've been playing the ukulele for a little over two months, so I qualify for this contest, whose experience range goes up to six months. This is the first stringed instrument I've ever played seriously in which you make the chords yourself! My main reason for playing the ukulele is to accompany my singing, so I'm not seriously thinking about finger picking styles.
In the past I've played autoharp and Appalachian dulcimer (using a noter to press down the melody string and letting the two drone (open) strings ring) and fooled around with a mandolin.

Thanks! One thing I always try to do before I get in front of the camera: be sure my ukulele is perfectly in tune (as much as I can get it!). It helps a lot. :-)
