You may already know that she won first prize at the 1980 Sibelius Competition in Helsinki and the Gold Medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition in 1982 and one of her teachers was none other than Leonid Kogan... In addition to being a world class soloist, as you can see, these photos reveal a stunningly beautiful woman in addition to all the talent on display here.

The Stravinsky here and Brahms sonatas are both perfect recordings for me and the 2 performances that put her on the map for me along with the all time greats. For me this is for me THE perfect recording I always knew knew she could make.

I have uploaded rare out of print and unreleased recordings that are difficult to find, I hope you like them.

Since they are so difficult to find no one should mind me uploading them, if you have issues with me uploading them please send me a message and I will remove them.

  • Thank you for posting the Divertimento..

I need to perform it soon and it's wonderful to be able to listen to her playing it.. How can I get the recording? Any ideas will be appreciated...

  • ebay or amazon used

  • I love so much how Stravinsky put this collage with Tchaikovsky. Besides of her perfect interpretation (non commento!) the composition itself is just great written.

    Thank you, Scott!
