Tuned FM loop antenna: 65 mm diameter copper wire loop tuned with a 5 - 25 pF variable capacitor. Signal tapped across part of loop.

  • @panserole Hi Panserole. It goes to the ground connection on one of the battery terminals.

  • Thanks Magrao. It should be possible to improve the antenna. For example, you could make the variable capacitor smaller and then use a larger loop. You could also automatically tune the antenna using a varactor diode and an additional circuit. These are just some ideas for future experiments.
