  • Port Holes were made of aluminum and bass rod, deck is 30mm plastic with real teak wood. The Superstructure is made fromm 20mm / 10mm plastic.

  • hello was the hull of the boat already built and were did u get the plans from thank u for ur time please if u can reply thank u

  • Good morning. The entire ship is scratch built, with the hull being laid up in fiberglass. The plans were taken from "The Flower Class Corvette Agassiz (Anatomy of the Ship)" and blown up to 1/48 scale.

  • Hi Daliberal, yes I have been on Sackville several times, and my buddy built a great replica of her last year.

  • My Wife's Grandfather was a Jimmie the one

and one time Commanding Officer on HMCS Barrie

Prior to moving on to another Flower Class

    and later Two Rivers.

    Nice Job Well Done.

  • Thank you for the comment. Much appreciated.

  • Absolutely beautiful. I'd love to learn how to do that some time. I know how to build scale model aircraft, but I really admire you ship guys.

  • Excellent model.

I read that the Canadian "Flowers" did not have wooden top decks making movement dangerous particularly loading depth charges in bad weather. I could not understand this as Canada is the last place on earth to be short of timber. Comment anyone?

  • is this the model that was displayed in Barry City Hall some years ago? if so how can I obtain a photo? my uncle served on this ship - he's now 85, living in BC & would like a photo

  • Nice video, superb modeling work!
