District 9 Effect Test - Hovering Mothership

I was bored so I shot a quick clip out of my 9th floor window then added the mothership from District 9 to the background. Pretty much just did this to see if I could achieve this sort of effect. I'm fairly satisfied with it. Done using the District 9 poster, photoshop, and after effects. No Wamoose Productions video is really planned to use an effect like this yet.

Thanks alot man but it's actually a less impressive trick than that. I've done some motion tracking before but this one was shot on a tripod and the camera motion is fake, added after compositing the ship. It achieves the same effect though.

Really? Nice job emulation the hand shake effect then as well. They say the best VFX are the ones you can't tell are actual VFX, and you did that ;) Keep up the good work.
