Hair Care - Clarifying Treatment (Combat Excessive Dryness and Build-up)

What have I been doing with my hair? Please watch to find out.

I'll probably try a different version of a sulfate-free clarifying shampoo and its accompanying conditioner, but this is what I had available to me. I will be incorporating this technique when I feel I need to do one until I use up all of the products in my "product graveyard/junkyard". (Hopefully, I'll have some stuff to give to my sister that does a lot of things to her hair, but I'm trying to use up what I have in my possession just to see how my hair reacts to them. Also I'm trying not to waste money :-D).

would it be good if you just use a clarifying shampoo and then just do a deep conditioning to restore moisture

@soccerqueen181 Yes, it would be good as long as that is what your hair needs. I noticed with my hair that after doing this "treatment" and just using a deep-conditioning treatment, it wasn't enough moisture for my hair. The next time, I did this technique, I followed it with a moisturizing conditioner, and then the deep-conditioning treatment and had better results with my hair (more moisture)! So I say experiment with your hair and see what it likes.
