  • This is a wonderful cake. I've made it 3 times already and am still getting requests for it - awsome recipe! Thanks for sharing :)

  • @mazamorra5035 Thanks so much for sharing this with me. I will definitely write this down for the future. Thanks again and Merry Christmas to all!!!

  • @montrealstars60 You can make your own molasses-like syrup for coloring purposes. That's what I do when I make gingerbread cookie dough. Take 200 grams plain white sugar, melt it in a pot or a pan and let it brown. Then add a bit boiling water, stirring constantly (otherwise it tends to clump), and let it come to a boil. And ANGIE! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

  • I made this this morning! The batter was heavenly!! So good! Can't wait to eat it tomorrow evening!! Thanks for posting this Angie and Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

  • Awesome recipe!!

  • Angie, you are so good in the kitchen. Great recipe. I don't know if you remember, I live in Italy and I cannot seem to find molasses here. Is there anything else I can use to replace this ingredient!!! Thanks and wishing you a very Merry Christamas!!!

  • Looks so delicious!! Thx for this recipe.
