Ringing the phones wouldn't help, because they're receiving a signal from the cell tower not transmitting. A cell phone only uses a few hundred milli-watts of power, while a microwave oven uses around 1,000 watts of power, that's the difference between sending data or a hot pocket. It's the intensity of the waves not the frequency that cooks. Cell phones operate at around 900-1900 MHz. Bluetooth and microwave ovens operate in the 2.4 GHz band, but bluetooth can't make a roast beef sandwich.
