Pastor Marvin Wiley

Reverend Marvin E. Wiley, a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, is the pastor of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church located in

Pastor Wiley has several full-time staff members to carry out Church business and operations. The Church's ministries are
organized for service under the church's five cornerstones, exaltation, edification, evangelism, extension, and equipping.

community. Under Pastor Wiley's innovative leadership, a Spiritual Growth and Development Center -- a four-level,
multi-million dollar facility opened in November 2004. This 40,000 square foot edifice offers many additional resources for worship, education and business.
His ability to teach and preach has carried him across the country for leadership, stewardship and evangelistic services. Since coming to Maywood, Pastor Wiley has continued to be concerned about evangelism both on a national, state and local level. He served on the executive committee of the corporate board of directors of the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. He has also served on numerous civic and community boards during the course of his ministry.
In March of 2010, Rev. Wiley celebrated his 19th Anniversary as the pastor of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church; as well as twenty-eight years in the Pastorate. In recognition of his contributions to the communities that he serves, he was recognized in March of 2006 by the Village of Maywood with an Honorary Street Sign that spans the corners of 12th & Madison through 14th & Madison Streets. Pastor Wiley was also recognized in the 2006 inaugural edition of Who's Who in Black Chicago - a publication showcasing the achievements of influential African American leaders in the Chicagoland area.
