In November 2010, We Are Guahan and Dr. Michael Lujan Bevacqua organized a set of 3 Heritage Hikes, to different places on Guam with historical and contemporary relevance to the plans that the US DOD has for Guam with its military buildup. The second hike was to Cetti and Sella Bay in Southern Guam. Prior to the hike, the more than 40 people who were attending the hike heard some of the history of Sella Bay from Tony Ramirez, who was involved in protests of plans for the US Navy to turn the area into an ammunition wharf in the early 1970's.
