Of course, if would never work. This is more of a practice than a real thing. Most techniques you see here would never work in real life if done the way you see it (and it's not done very well in this case in my opinion). Any instructor would tell you that. This is why you cannot attend a 2-day seminar or study a tape and think of yourself as a martial artist.
