RCTC offers three major options in Equine Science Careers: Equine Business Management, Horse Husbandry and Riding/Training. The purpose of the Horse Husbandry major is to prepare students for careers in stable management, horse breeding, and horse care. See us at: http://www.rctc.edu/program/eqsc

Yes, you could do the RCTC equine science program and eventually make your way to veterinary school. You would do 2 years at RCTC, then finish your Bachelor's degree the following two years (which is required for veterinary school), then go to Veterinary school after that. Actually, vet schools like it if you have lots of practical experience with animals, which you would get in our program.

does equine science require biology and could it teach me to become a horse vet?
it's just that I want to use my Biology A-level to become a horse vet, but i don't know if an equine science degree teaches you that stuff...
