So...Today I decided to try two things different: 1) Picking a song (I'm just learning how to pick) Thank you to Ukulele Mike for his great picking tutorial! One of these days I will get it...I'm waiting for it to come together Mike! :) 2) Multi-tracking (layering). My feeble and yes, clumsy attempt has a lot to be desired, but I think I kind of liked the effect of strum and pick (it seems to fill it out some) and will continue to try to build on this and get this so that it sounds okay. Sorry for the bad quality and sound feedback. I think I was too close to my FlipVideo recorder. Here is my first attempt ever. (No tomatoes please or thumbs down!) LOL I am using my Lanikai LU-8 8 string ukulele for the strumming part and my KoAloha soprano for the picking part.
This song is dedicated to my friend .... The sound of silence between friends is never a good thing...
