Mine's an auto. And I ran 12.9 with my current setup. 2.73 gears out back. I'd say i'm right on par, if not above. check my profile for my car and vids.
No no. I meant 350 to the ground. Like, touching the floor. 13.8 is a bit slow for a stock 6-speed F-Body, though. If you drive one right they'll crack the 12s. Average quarter miles times are around 13.4-13.6 with an average driver.
Actually, the 305 horsepower rating on the F-Bodies is wrong. To the wheel they have been known to produce up to 350 wheel horsepower. GM underrated them so they wouldn't seem like they were competing with themselves. :P
Actually, stock for stock those two cars are fairly even in their quarter mile times. Keep in mind it takes nearly nothing to get a decent bit of power of an LS1 as well. Those engines are revered for a reason, you know.
that cobra should have beat that t/a. all of you say that its what the cars... no no no. 80% of racing is how good the driver is. the guy in the t/a is simply a better driver. case closed!
Also, My Mustang weighed 3640 with me in it, the Camaro is 3620. My E.T.'s were ran at an altitude of 3800FT 70deg day. The 315HP rating on the non-charged cobra is Fly HP, the GM 305HP rating is actually Rear wheel, around 350 fly.
@Pyrothos666 too bad they will always run the streets.
