home made wind turbine from a future energy alternator, had to take it down at 2am, in the rain, was putting 400+watts into battery bank, plus ametek 60 to 90 watts, need a bigger dump load or good charge controller

do you not need planning permission for a turbine or do you kinow know a way round this eg size or do you just take a chance thanks joe

you need to look at your specific area, some might need planning permission, but the new rules seem to be more relaxed about renewable energy, if not sure check with your local council or borough.

I love both, however I have a soft spot for my vawt's they never stop spinning no matter where the wind is comming from, but very hard to get decent power from them the hawts are much easier to put together although I could do with it being 10 times higher, then I would be a happy chappy, hopefully one day I will live in a place where I can put them all 50 metres high, have a huge house,be married to a hot horny chick, have two well behaved kids,and the dream goes on..

got a new house right on the beach and i own the burn that runs through my land it has a head of 3m and its on the west coast of Scotland and boy Ricardo this is were all the UK wind comes from it heaven on earth you need to get up here with the family for at least a weekend, here is all i need south facing roof across the bay so i get the sun all day and the reflection off the sea so a double dunt for the solar so i bought 800w of panels next month, the grid tied inverter wish you were here

can you usa a rectifer to convert ac to dc and also have it has a blocking diode for batterey?

I'm not sure how but commercial windmills turn away from the wind automatically. You might be able to figure out an automatic switch to open the circuit if its giving too much power as well.

Vey nice Humbertini900 you are very creative. i love youre videos do you go off grid? youre my idol when it comes to renuable energy i love making things aswell i have a small wind turbine using a stepper motor and 2 pvc pipe blade now i am only starting renuable enegy so i am only doing basics but i think if you put only 2 blades on the future energy turbine mabye it would not go so fast
