The Bible does not read, "These have four legs." The Bible reads, "upon all four". If these creatures would be considered insects in modern-day biology, then there are at least 2 possibilities:
1. "Upon all four" was a common phrase meaning "crawling".
2. Only four "legs" were counted as part of the "four" in "upon all four".
"The passage in the KJV does not use the word "insects"." Nor did I ever say that it did. Try not to be so anal. The organisms listed are all insects, and they all have and travel upon six legs. Six. Use Google and search for images if you doubt it. The bible says four legs. As you have NOT rebutted this simple, clear error I somehow think you do NOT find it to be "quite easy." Let's not move on to talking snakes and donkeys until you finish with the 4-legged grasshoppers and beetles.
I have not performed such fallacy, for I have not assumed in such a way; rather, I have simply read the Bible according to how it is written, not what I want it to say.
Now, what "four-legged" "insects" are you referring to?
You are wrong in that this was circular reasoning. Circular reasoning would be: "If it is true, then it means this. It means this; therefore, it is true."
However, you are right in that you can only completely trust the Bible if it is true (from the Lord).
@Imaginefree69 Good point.

Do not try to discourage me from answering your questions; I've heard all of them before, so they are quite easy, actually.
Now, which talking animals would you like to point me to?

"four-legged" "insects"
Here ya go:
Leviticus 11:20-23
"every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four;
the locust..the beetle..and the grasshopper"
Or if you'd rather prove the validity of talking animals,
you know, I'm flexible.

Circular reasoning is ALSO
"I assume this is true,
so no matter what the may actually say,
this is what it means."
Now, how about them 4-legged insects?

"This rules out the "every"...
Only if you have a priori solid knowledge
that this is all factual and accurate.
Which is NOT the case, as that is the question we are investigating.
"If it's true it must mean this.
Therefore it means this, because it has to be true."
No, that just doesn't fly.
Circular reasoning just causes dizziness.
