Hwang Jang Yop was not a bureaucrat, he was Chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly for 11 years and before that he was a Professor of philosophy. How could he have been an "agent of the west" ? He joined the "Workers" party in 1946, had he been a "traitor" as you allege he would've switched sides during the Korean war...instead he spent his whole life working for "the revolution" only to see a dictatorship destroy it
