Did you level primarily by pvping and just doing your class quests? Do you think this is a good idea so that your close to valor 50 when you hit lvl 50?

@RPGLynx Yes, levelled mainly through PvP and the story quests. It was nice starting at or around valor 50 at level 50. I'm halfway through 55 now. It definitely slows down after 50.

Just got into playing a powertech and I must say eventho it's supposed to be a mirror to vanguard... it feels very different because heat is a different resource from your ammo :O

I was thinking about going shield spec for grapple + stealth scan 3 sec immobilizes and the charge ability to stun too. Do you think its as viable in pvp as the middle tree?

@Pallo199191 Yes, it's definitely viable. I've run across some BHs running that mirror and it looks fun to play.

Great build. I was going to do this build when I had enough. Another great build is putting enough points into Neutral Overload and Ion Overload; which allows me to put on Ion Cell and kite effectively against melee with hold the line. They have no chance. If they get close, stock strike and the slow is applied with 100% chance. Then kite with hammer shot mixing some ion pulse and high impact shot.

Great commentary, I'll try this build later when I get a few more levels.

@Teldara Yeah, any hybrid with hold the line should work. It's a great ability that can be used offensively, defensively, and for utility. It greatly increases our survivability.

Right as he knocked you back at about 5:30, did you consider Harpooning him to interrupt his next cast? That might by you two seconds in all to riot strike him again...

The commentary is very good, but the bunny hopping isn't necessary. Jumping slows your movement speed in TOR.

@RaggokOozo Hey quick question, im high 40's right now, vanguard, and have been playing around with your spec. I originally built around gut to pick up Hold the Line, but im trying out now having gut and while also having incindiary round. How do you choose which one to use or do you use both of them every fight?
