At TerraPi we focus on healing the land and allowing the land to heal the people.

Though at first glance TerraPi is a vast healthy wilderness in reality it is sending out a cry for help. Over farmed, over worked the land at TerraPi is being overrun by an exotic species, Black Wattle, that kills its' indigenous plants and dries up its' river courses, creating wattle deserts where nothing but wattle survives.

With the help of the WWF, scientists from all over South Africa, the South African Government and enthusiastic volunteers; TerraPi is pioneering a unique approach to rehabilitating land overrun by exotic species.
Imagine a place...
Where you can break away from the madness of everyday life. Where you will be given your own secluded Tipi tent, with a smouldering fire and a roof that opens to the stars. Where you can arrive with your sleeping bag and food and leave tuned to the abundance that a nature breakaway can give you.

Giving something back has never been more satisfying than spending time at our camp in the mountains.
