Bellydance Madam Qadam dance to Tassili - Ja Raieh

Laila performed 1st of May 2009 with the Norwegian-Moroccan band Tassili on MS Innvik. The dance was an improvisation to the song Ja Raieh. The movements is telling a story about a woman struggling her way out of a desert.

Laila is a bellydancer from Norway. Madam Qadam is her artistic name. Laila has a bachelor degree in dance teaching from Bodø College in Norway. She is a certified Simonsonteacher at Dance Space Center (now DNA) in New York.

She has teaching experience in ballet, jazz, modern, bellydance, folklore, pilates and yoga. Laila has been dancing, teaching and studied belly dance for 15 years in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Holland, USA, Australia and Egypt.

Madam Qadam Oriental School of Bellydance give bellydance classes at regular schedule. English speaking students are welcome to join regular workshops. Private lessons in English for one person or small group is also available.
