Bronson Pinchot (Meego) with Gilligan's Island

http://TVSeriesFinale.com A short-lived 1997 CBS sitcom starring Bronson Pinchot (Perfect Strangers), Ed Begley Jr. (St. Elsewhere), Will Estes (American Dreams, Reunion), Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Jonathan Lipnicki (Jerry Macguire).

In the seventh episode, which never aired on ABC, Meego (Pinchot) tries to reach his alien mother and accidentally contacts Gilligan's Island instead.

The castaways are Gilligan (Bob Denver), The Professor (Russell Johnson) and Mary Ann (Dawn Wells). They're only on the show for a short time but it's nice to see them once again. Incidentally, this is the last time that the three performed their iconic roles together.

Thanks for putting up a good short "Meego" clip here. The last time (and the only time) I ever saw this show was the Halloween episode, and it's a shame this never lasted long. Oh well...but I knew a alien babysitter is a fun idea for a sitcom.

Did the info said "Meego" was on ABC? It actually aired on CBS - back in late 1997.

True. Of course, logic was never one of the show's strengths. Perhaps Meego's radio was spanning both distance and time. ;-)

As you probably know, there were several Gilligan cameos on different shows in which they were still stranded on the island. Even Gilligan's Planet was produced after the third Gilligan movie.

I think most people will always envision them stranded on the island.
