do you know a way to make them go into a small box formation (not defensive mode) cuz he happened to me online erlier and they took out a 5 later wall in seconds they were like in 2-4 spaces and they were 50 on them... any ideas ?

Guys, stop saying that other units can easily kill oprichniks, because we already know that. Oprichniks aren't supposed to be used to fight units, they're only used for raiding. The real army cavalry of the Russians are Cossacks. Sure they aren't that strong but with a good economy, a russian player can spam Cossacks and/or Oprichniks indefinitely. Numbers, gentlemen, is the strength of the Russians in AOE3.

Opries are awesome if you sneak em in while two armies clash somewhere else. If you get them to guard and upgrade cav damage vs buildings with the advanced arsenal they destroy plantations and mills in seconds.
