It's actually a 415lb squat because im using a 55lb bar instead of a 45lb bar, but until i prove that with another video, the title will stay this way due to the amount of youtube haterzZz. This was done during my 9th week of smolov junior for squats.

If you dont agree with this being perfect form, thats ok because i only put that in the title to get more views :)

  • real good and you never look like you can squat 4 plates....lol

  • @arniemonkey thanks a lot man. Recently i squatted 405x4 and made it look easy, check out my latest vids.

  • nice man. i just squated 405(have video) as well but with a belt, I wasnt able to keep all the weigh on my heels as well as you did. good stuff

  • @dgwear69 thanks man. btw, check my later vids, i hit 405x4 recently and with great speed on the reps.

  • You don't look like a very thick guy, that is excellent weight for you and excellent depth. I would recommend you open you lets up a few inches to allow you hips to more easy pass though your hips. It will keep your back more upright. The way I teach people the proper stance is to give them a book and squat down in a comfortable position and read it. That is how to find the right placement for your legs. Being comfortable up top means nothing, the bottom is where it counts. Good Lift!

  • @tsafa1 thanks for the advice! I'm not too thick, but I want to get thicker so I can speed up my gains a bit. I'm pretty comfortable with my stance width at this point. As I got stronger and stronger, I got more and more comfortable with a narrow stance. I also like it because it's more of an athletic stance, and my primary goal is to increase my vertical leap (currently 32" standing, 38" running). One day i'll be able to rep 405 like you though!

  • @drionsh will do... have you seen me mash the 405 s im pretty good

  • WOW!!!!

  • @drionsh Oops sorry didn't see the athletic stance thing..

  • @drionsh I agree you could definitely benefit from a slightly wider stance and pushing knees out more. Well, not really "pushing" them out. Really flexing your hip external rotators before you start going down. Not so hard that your feet actually angle out more, just enough to feel your feet grip the ground like you are spreading it apart, see what I'm saying?

  • Like that other guy said.

    "Shit!"

  • get a spotter bro. good job though.. mad props.
