Let's Play Separation Anxiety (Co-op w/Hours) 1

Of all the little known side-scrolling fighter gems, Spider-Man & Venom: Separation Anxiety is agreeably not amongst the very cream of the crop. Its derivativeness is both the game's weakness and its charm; the gameplay offered little variation from other fighters of its time and plays essentially like any of those. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially when you can pretend to be the amazing Wall Crawler or his incredibly cool Symbiotic nemesis.

The other thing this game has going for it is its difficulty. It's not an easy game in the least and I never actually beat it when I played it growing up. And a strong challenge is certainly never an unwelcome situation for any gamer.

Besides, when you double the LPers, you double the ridiculous commentary. And who isn't up for a little more o' that?

I'm not hating on you guys, but it wasn't Sam Raimi's fault spider-man 3 sucked ass. Raimi was trying to follow the classic comics (why spidey 1 and 2 rocked so hard) but Sony intervened and forced him to put in venom, because of fan outcry. it was orginally going to be just sandman as the only badguy. Everything that sucked about spidey 3 was sony's fault :(

@Cherrypoppins18 I understand Sony shoehorned the Venom plot thread in but I'm still gonna have to fault Raimi for writing Peter Parker's character in an unbecoming, insipid, emo way that just drove me nuts; not to mention the way he just rewrote the way Peter's uncle died without a thought given to continuity. I also find Sandman to be a particularly uninteresting villain and always have since I was a kid; why Raimi chose to highlight him, I'll never know. You can't win them all.

This, and Maximum Carnage are by far the best Spider-Man games ever! You can pick up "thingys" that let you summon Punnisher, Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, and Captain America to kick some ass for you!

This game is fun, I use to have a SNes. I was like 4 or 5 years old, I don't even remember how I beat this game all by myself. Good times, I love the SEPARATION ANXIETY. lol
