In 2007 the aftermath of flooding in Tollbar , South Yorkshire UK saw hundreds of families still displaced and living in caravans, hotels or temporary rented accomodation. Council tennants seemed to fare better than those private tennants or home owners who had to deal with insurers. Parts of the village were under 4 to 5 feet of contaminated water with many homes damaged. This is an item I shot and edited for the local BBC channel. I am a freelance TV lighting cameraman based in the North of England. I also edit on Avid and Quantel.
