This was a great interview, thankyou for sharing this with those who have looked it up. I guess the death of a legendary person gains attention. I didn't realize I was such a big fan of Fess Parker while I was growing until his recent passing. Out of sight, out of mind... It has made me feel Hollywood's golden years are dimming more and more...
As a baby boomer who grew up watching the great Fess Parker play Davy Crockett.. I can assure Mr. Parker that he will indeed "be remembered" for the many years of joy and entertainment that he gave to us.
I'm gonna CRY!! I had a big crush on Davey Crockett when I was a kid and seeing this, he still makes me warm and fuzzy all over. What a decent, gentle person he was. They don't make em like this any more! Rest in Peace, Fess, you have done well! God Bless his family!
What a Great interveiw. I'am sorry its allmost over. My Dad and I used to sit and watch Daniel Boone togather. in the Evening. I loved it. He was Hero Then. in 1966 at the Age of 6 Years old I started the first Grade. and for that first year of School. I got a Daniel Boone Lunch Box to take to School. I was so Happy about the Lunch box and Thermose bottle. I wanted to take it to Bed with me every Night.
Some people shake the world quietly in a humble way.Thank-you Fess,I'm still watching after more than 50 years. This interview says a lot more about you than any movie could.I don't say this often...God Bless.
