  • the delivery by Chaplin was simply amazing. what is more impressive is how well written this speech is. who wrote the script to the great dictator?

  • @gsilvacera1680

Chaplin. He wrote, directed, and produced most of his films.

  • Can I get a link to the audio? This is one of the most amazing things I have ever listened to.

  • @Segarr

  • Fight Corporate Welfare! Stop endless war, meritless war! Fight Machine Men with Machine minds! Vote Ron Paul 2012!

  • Made me cry. I don't even know if they were tears of sadness due to the fact that it is a perfectly accurate description of the way the world is or tears of happiness because the fact that a speech like this was made means that there is hope for humanity after all.

  • I could listen to this all night

  • I think Barber's Adagio for Strings would've fit better. Chaplin's speech was a masterpiece though.

  • @prguyy nevermind the info bar told me :)

  • A good message is a good message, it is not the source that matters, but the impact it has on those that hear it. A seed of hope is a seed of hope. In a desert you do not care whether the cactus has thorns, that cactus still holds water, be grateful

  • @daire36 No, just thought you were making a fool of yourself.

  • @OldGregg01 Hit a nerve? Nothing wrong with a cunt xxxx

  • @daire36 Yeah, I'm sure Charlie Chaplin was responsible for all the shitty things Britain did to Ireland. Fuck off and think before you post next time you absolute cunt.

  • this gave me chills.

  • English man spouting that, I wounder what stance the English had when it came to occupying Ireland for the last 730 years when this was filmed. As usual the English were, and still are putting themselves on a pestilential to the world, so do us all a favor and take more than page out of your own book, take the whole thing!
