New Orleans. Dec 2011. As far as I know the first verse of this is an old spiritual...the second verse I wrote cos I'd lost the lyrics I'd printed off the internet. I accidentally stole a bit of the melody from house of the rising sun, but then remembered what city we were in, so it was quite fitting really.
