I managed to get my camera still by putting it on an awkward shaped lamp.. ingenious, I know.

Here's another easy song from Rent! It proves almost impossible for me to play and sing at the same time, though.

Ignore the times I mess up. ;) Only human.

  • Dude, get a better piano. Your plastic key impact makes sounds that disrupt the audio.

I thought it was some drums in the background at first. That or move your camera mic away farther.

  • my old mic did that just from the sounds of the keyboard, not the impact. If I shouted it'd make that noise too.

  • I saw that in the sheet, but the sheet also had you playing the melody which is stupid. I didn't like the way that sounded and I don't really notice in the song.

    :)

  • thanks, but it's a bit fast when you go through the one finger bit. could you repost this slower, or add the notes into the Video Discription. Cheers xx

  • good job. you can do it on any key. i play this starting with the Bflat. learned from the sheet music. Bflat, C, down 4 to the F, octave higher F,back down an octave to that F you just hit before, same Bflat as before, same C, than that octave higher F.

Than start with the A replacing the Bflat but everything else the same.

Than back to the first way starting with the Bflat.

Lastly D,E,F,D,C,F,E,C. all the ones close together. good luck understaing that. hehe. best way i can describe.

  • I play piano by ear. I can't read music worth crap for some reason...took lessons...by ear and watching are the only ways I can learn but once I watch it or hear it I can play it. So yes...in a nut shell..THANK YOU YOU ROCK!!! lol
