After all, they were referred to as Human rights; not American rights. Rights are not granted by anyone, they're yours by your very nature. That doesn't mean you don't have the responsibility, and obligation, to defend them against all those who would infringe upon them. Brilliant.

Lookup "police brutality" on youtube. Americans are no more than cattle to the government. In fact, cattle has a higher status.

Beautiful words from an enlightened being. "Government," from Latin: Gubernare (to control) + Mente (mind). Government = Mind Control. Take control of your OWN mind, or it will be controlled by those who want power over you. We are all SOVEREING BEINGS. There is NO SUCH THING AS THE AUTHORITY OF MAN. THE END. That's THE TRUTH and nothing will ever change that, regardless of how much mind control the slaves of this world are under.

atrickpay: what? how is a constitutional republic tyranny? Do you know what a constitutional republic is and how that contrast to a democracy? It does not appear you are in tune with the most basic fundamental of the US.

syadasti.....you are obviously just a fool. What type of governance do you sponsor? There is no better form than the founders set in motion.

tstark: It's a great question.
As I kinda indicated in my previous comment, self-government is the optimal of governance....when you leave your own governance to "representatives" you are going to tend to get tyranny.

I suspect many will move toward tyranny no matter what government you institute. Not so much because of the nature of the particular institution, but because of the nature of "followers" and "leaders". I think they gave them such names as "governor", for identity, when they were only supposed to represent the peoples interests. Most institutions often tend to shift toward self serving monoliths that lose regard for their inception.
