Lovely song. I am very found of this song. Can some one translate it in Hindi or English.
I imagine -bhalu masooq maine mean- my Masooq is very good. is it.
what does the line mean - sharab ki pyari variyo....... or vasuksh pari chasubi zam zari. kanu ma tazveez kari. Bhalu masooq maine.. Please translate this for me.
Yes, she does have a very slight accent...This is probabaly because she is NOT a Kashmiri...she is Dogra, but she is married to a Kashmiri(Pundit)...I would still regard her as a Kashmiri, as she sings better than most Kashmiris and has maintained our refined culture of Kashmiris.
@Krajput559 And there is a reason why it is Jammu AND Kashmir and NOT Jammu IN Kashmir. India lumped them together for increasing the Hindu demography by having a Hindu majority Jammu with a Muslim majority Kashmir...for political reasons. You seem desperate to be a Kashmiri, due to some identity crisis, no doubt like these Mirpuri pakis. and I think of Kailashji as a Kashmiri, who just happened to be born into the Dogra community. She has done more to keep kashmiri alive than kashmiris have.
"Get your history lesson"- HAHA You clown, I am a Kashmiri by birth and blood. Kashmiri is Kashmiri (language, cuisine, clothing, culture)- NONE of which is Dogra, Gujjar, Pahari, or these Mirpuri Idiots have, Your Dogra king subjugated Kashmiris in our own land and forcibly took over Kashmir(and lumped Jammu with it). U seem desperate to be a Kashmiri..lol.. I am more than willing to teach u abt Kashmir, but only in my mothertongue of Kashmiri. Magar sche chooyi ni koshur tagaan:)
Kashmiri is a LINGUISTIC-Ethnic group. Kashmiris speak in Kashmiri, follow Kashmiri culture (cuisine, Pheran, Samavar, Dejhor). Neither of which Dogras do. Dogras speak in DOGRI (similar to Punjabi) and follow Dogra culture (confluence of Rajput +Punjabi culture- nothing Kashmiri). Yes, Dogra is to Kashmir like Tamil is to Punjabi..LOL. Dogra king FORCIBLY annexed Kashmir and is hated by Kashmiris. In fact, YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT..or converse with me in KASHMIRI..
