EN: I set another test after the 'Extreme Suds Test' as I wanted to push my washer to the limit once more and see how it'd cope with a tough laundry situation. I was inspired by a good YouTuber friend who some time ago gave me the idea to challenge the machine with a heavy load and an abundant amount of detergent: this was carried out successfully and the detergent I used at the time (Daz) caused the machine to sudslock on the first interim spin and as a result it carried out the first rinse with a high water level (similar to the 'Suds Test' clip), then it performed 2 more rinses with low water level. On this occasion the detergent I used failed to cause any foam (is it a good thing or a bad thing?), therefore the machine managed to rid of it easily with 3 low water level rinses. This clip is heavily abridged as I wanted to fit the whole 3 hour cycle within 1 video, however, it contains the most crucial parts of the whole wash programme.

  • NIce wash. I did laundry in a hotel and always ran the commercial washer this full. As long as there is enough water and the machine can extract the load it works fine. At least in the big Speed Queens it does.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Thank you! That's what I'm talking about... there are still some ppl out there who refuse to accept this scenario. The extraction is quite powerful as the 3 interim spins are carried out at 1000rpm (provided that I leave the dial on 1000 or higher). I am ready to accept the fact that stuffing the washer full is not ideal in the case of ground in dirt. Cheerio.

  • Why you washed white towels only at 40°C thats not good... wash the m on boilwash

  • @Maturasigma it's ok to wash towels at 40°C occasionally provided that they're not particularly grubby ;-)

Also, this load contained some items that wouldn't withstand high temperatures. Thanks for your comment.

  • LMAO! The ageing process turned the plastics yellow. Cool video :)

  • Hey thanks :-)

I know... I should've used nightshot mode LOL

  • yeah gunna be honest he is right!! as long as there is enough detergant to make the clothes absorb the water then its fine!! that load looked well washed anyways!!

  • You don't need any suds to clean clothes, suds reduce the tumbling action so the results are no better if you overdose, it's just a waste of detergent and it makes the rinse results poorer. Sudlocks damage the washer too, excess strain on the motor.
