idk if i should do lax like im a big kid for 9th grade ive only played one year which was 8th and everyone says i was good cause i blocked so many goals with my body though but this year idk they say they need me to play but idk if i should

@GriffinPsyche I'm pretty new too, playing for my University in the UK. Learn and adhere to your 5-step arc (Get RIGHT up against your posts when at the edges), be aware of the angle of your body (let the ball deflect away from the goal, not into it). Practice practice practice with your hands - make sure your brain doesn't panic when the ball goes down your weak side.
And remember - every bruise is a save. It will hurt, but there is no position in sport more noble than goaltending.

I am proud to call myself a lax goalie. The pressure on my shoulders is what i live for. It all comes down to wether or not you can handle the pressure, not everyone can, thats why we lax goalies are a rare breed.
