Lovely truck . I used to drive a 1986 LTL9000 here in the UK. It had a 400 bhp V8 ( 400 was considered a lot in 1986 when it was made ) . It had the slightly more rounded grill to this one.and different lights, etc. The company ran it for many years and then it was sold and restored etc and is still about ( I see it ocassionally ) . I assume the " stirling " replaced the LTL 9000. There a quite a few " cabover" 9000 s here in the UK also. Also you dont see the "proper " old Ford Cargos anymore

You would be correct on your Sterling guess....however Daimler just decided to kill the entire name plate.....
