Brenna's arm surgery

Brenna had surgery on her arm on June 13th 2007. She is currently sporting an external fixater that will both lengthen her forearm and reposition her wrist. She is a real trooper and we love her for being so brave.

She was born without a thumb or radius bone, so the surgery was to straighten her arm and lengthen it some. She is doing fine now and the surgery was somewhat successful, but she won't have anymore unless she decides to when she is older. She is happy about that. Thanks for asking.

She is doing real well. The surgery went well, although we did have some complications and the end result was not as much an improvement as we were were hoping for. This was one of many surgeries on her arm, and none of them really were text book results. But she is very happy and doing quite well. Thanks for asking.
