  • hi friend, i took the heli apart and found out that one motor was spinning slower then the other, i went back to the stock motor that works great...

    thx 4 everything guys!

  • Hi man, thx for the comment, the problem was the upgraded motor, one of them was spinning slower then the other which caused the heli to act funny..... i went back and installed the stock motor now everything is back 2 normal

  • Hey guys, thx for all the helps, i will go ahead and try to do that, i'll keep updated if the unit flys better after that changes

  • Dear mYfLASK

Thx for your response, the upgrade was made just 2 days ago everything is brand new purchased from my LHS.

I can seem to understand why one motor starts and spins faster the the other ...

  • Hey guys, thx 4 watching, any idea why my blades spines separately at the beginning and im sure it stays like this during the entire flight aprox 11min, due to this problem I must keep the left stick to the left in order to keep it from spinning clockwise during the flight.....

    Please help me fix it....

  • I ordered the same kit. i think your motors are out of sync. try trimming the left stick "rudder" more or using the trim pot on the heli.

  • I assume you are using the upgrade motors. They do no good. Try adjusting you trim pot and if that doesn't work you may need a new 3in1.

  • theere is a few things that are possible

    1. missing tooth of gear

    2. possible burnt brushes on motor

    3. rudder travel ajust is too low, trytkaing up to 125% if possibe

    4. is basic trims

and finaaly 5. the gyro and or mixin cold be out

good luck :) hope this helps

  • Hey,

I've had a cx-2 for almost 2 years now and want to upgrade it. What do you think the best choices are?

  • Upper blades starting before lower or VICE VERSA is of no concern. As long as once you are in the air every is under control (YAW). If yo make any adjustment with the canopy OFF, then it mite act differently when you put it back on.

Its normal for some COAXIAL helis to have one rotor spin before the other or faster then the other on startup, its the gyro trying to counteract rotor torque.

  • If mechanicaly everything is nice and secure, then most likely its the mixer adjusments on the 3-1 or 4-1 unit on you're heli. What you are going to want to do is position the GYRO pot in the middle or 50% travel. Then you are going to want to make MINOR adjusments the the MIXER pot until YAW is center (make sure TX trim are centered) Once YAW or nose wanting to rotate is fix, then you can slowly readjust gyro until you are satisfied.

  • Apologise, I assumed you upgraded the CX2 yourself, hence the suggestions,

Try centring the prop pot, then make small adjustments. If you turn this pot to the extreme (CW/CCW) this will actually disable the gyro completely, hence the spinning. Hopefully this will help,
