Crack Hoe.......... haha im gonna use that one day

If you would replace the 11.730 crystal with one .455 KC more than your transmit Crystal, add a simple BFO , the radio would be a neat 10 meter transceiver.

I thought that said Bacon Project ):

CB liner is cheap, hams should use them also, it should work well with QRP 5 watts radio, probably work fine in any band below 28 MHz

Why would FCC track down HAM radio operators?
-

This is a great video. I love to see people modifying old equipment to give it new life and purpose. It's too bad the ignorant have an opportunity to volley their ridiculous thoughts and comments here. This guy did a nice job, and I don't see any of you other guys doing anything like this. Oh yeah, and sticking a metal screwdriver in a radio is pretty common. That's 20 years of Motorola high level service tech experience talking.....lighten up Francis!!

first of all it doesn't matter if its off, second, he didn't touch any contacts so its fine, and third, it would be better than him sticking his finger into a circuit board to try to point something out don't you think?
