Carmen nearly idolizes Barry Asher.

Kinda walled up aren't they?

Dick Weber remains, in the opinion of many, the greatest professional bowler who ever lived.
Whenever he made the "stepladder format" final day of a PBA event, ABC (or later, ESPN for some events) would be assured of good ratings.

They aren't criticizing them. They are doing extremely close analysis of their bowling styles. Remember: Salvino and Weber are the heroes of Durbin's generation. It's like a present day artist criticizing Picasso's work. The analysis is very instructive.

Search up the 2009 practice shots with Salvino. Amazingly enough, he kind of went back to his old 1954 style. 75 years old, the guy's amazing.

you mean to say that he got old and cranky now and he no longer is a great guy?
It maybe just me but it almost always seems the people that do things a little bit different like salvino are always some of the better players.

I was just in the suburbs of Chicago for the Petersen, and the next day for lunch I met Carmen and his wife. Very nice guy and also very personal. Gave me a tip, don't bowl at the Pete. Still looks the same, way to go Carmen!
