@jferkfjkj and you should have been aware that he was playing with crazy horse, and they play crazy horse songs, the only classic songs you will hear when he plays with the horse are off zuma and everybody knows this is nowhere

@RRimh Agreed. Neil demonstrated his profound understanding of the post-911 moment, and this album stands among his best work. I saw the Greendale show at S.P.A.C. in Upstate NY. On the morning of the concert, he came through the doorway of the hotel and I almost walked right into him -- my jaw dropped. I stammered and asked him for a photo. He looked startled, gave me a strange look and said no, that he had to go something, and walked away. It is one of my all time greatest memories of life.

I was pretty disappointed in Greendale overall although I think Be the Rain is a great song, and I love the part in the movie when Neil does a Wayne Newton impersonation.

Absolutly. Sat second row at Dodge Theater (downtown Phoenix). Greendale was Awesome, Neil and Crazy Horse were awesome!

Greendale has to be the greatest album Neil has made since Bluedale! I especially like the song "Yeah! Individually wrapped meat cubes"

greendale is probably the most under played most unheard greatest work my neil yet. really good stuff. the whole album. all of it is awesome.

Greendale is Neil's best since Rust Never Sleeps. It's amazing so few people know that. But who cares. Neil knows it.
