Alright, this goes out to everyone bashing on the video or the name. We explored the hospital to show people how it looks now. Tara- the girl hosting the video, only made comments such as "it's the Blair Witch project" for comedic purposes only to have fun while filming. We didn't say anything negative towards the hospital or what happened their, and we are aware of how serious what had happen their was. We were simply filming to show people what it looks like.

As for the name Willowbrook, That is the Willowbrook hospital, not a farm colony or a college, or seaview hospital.

the willowbrook hospial was where they finally exposed all the abuse that people with disablities were suffering from in the 70s and bc of it they finally deinstutionalized people with disablities it was a horrible place lots of psychal mental and sexual abuse geraldo rivera got it closed down

this is seaview farm colony. Willowbrook is now the college of staten island and has been gone for many years. This hospital is pretty cool tho my group and I have been there a shit load of times

This is the Seaview Mental Asylum. Not Willowbrook Hosiptal there was a Willowbrook State School For the Mental which include some buildings of the college of staten island they Renovated the buidings and made them part of the College of staten island. the rest of the buildings are in the greenbelt destroyed or abandoned

...the main ruins of the asylum (not the ones shown here), are in the back of the new hospital on the opposite side of the street. it is a four story building gated in, yet it can still be broken into. police guard the rear entrance at night from a trailer. I am a current student at the college of staten island, and I have been to the seaview ruins myself so this is an accurate statement.

lol kewl video! however your sources are a bit mixed up...its a documented fact that the willowbrook Asylum was indeed the campus of the College of Staten island, and was closed in the mid seventies, and refurbished as a college campus. (the old CSI, was at the Petrides complex). The building showed in the video above, is one of a series of buildings belonging to the old Seaview hospital which was also an asylum....and also,
