Deck of Cards: [Ultimate Writer's Contest; ROUND 3]

READ HERE (OR BE CONFUSED)!

Haha, wow. I'm quite the major loser, aren't I? Shannon (UntouchableSS27) just uploaded the Ultimate Writer's Contest, Round 3 video & .. I already made mine? :|

Well, then ..

I'M FREAKING OUT! I MADE IT INTO THE NEXT ROUND! You have NO IDEA how ecstatic I am right now! I was so happy that the second I figured out the topic, I rushed to make the next one :)

No worries, however; though I make my stories quickly, I make sure there are no grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, or anything weird like that. Hopefully [cross your fingers!] there weren't any in this :D

So, the topic for Round 3 was .. RELATIONSHIPS! But, not a cliche, lovey-dovey relationship between a boy & girl or something like this. This topic was a relationship between mother/daughter, father/daughter, siblings, friends, etc. :D

And so, I chose a relationship between father & daughter(s). Now, this has a few holes in the story, so I suggest you continue to read .. ;)

Selena is autistic. She's 13 years old in this & Miley is 16. When they were little, their mother abandoned them with their father (who, in this story, was Johnny Depp). He went into a bad case of alcoholism & beat Miley up, thinking she was to blame for all that happened. People found out & she was sent away to a foster family, but Selena was left behind. However, she came back to visit them & he was clean. And I'm guessing the rest is pretty simple :D

It was supposed to be a "heartwarming" story, though sad because of Selena having autism. I had the idea of her being autistic because one of my ultimate favorite movies is Rain Man, starring Tom Cruise :) If you haven't seen it, you're missing a lot, aha ;)

Okay, so .. as for the title: "A Deck of Cards". It was supposed to be 'symbolic', as in ... every time Selena is "shuffling the cards while nervous", she wants to get a new outcome on life. So, whenever she takes out a new card, her life story may change. Did you understand that? Haha. I hope I didn't confuse people xD

I really did cry while I was watching this . I think you really are an amazing writer. This story was incredible. Absoutely beautiful :) And at the end when it said walk this path I was listening to Fifteen and it said walk through the doors and bamm, I started balling :|. I know Im wierdd
