Lion Guardians Lenkina and Koikai teach a new Lion Guardians volunteer Solonka how to track lions and other carnivores from their footprints. Lion Guardians must be able to follow tracks accurately so they can tell which carnivores are in their local area. It is also a useful skill for finding out information if someone has had their livestock attacked by a carnivore. The Lion Guardians can find out which carnivore has attacked, when it came, how many there were and where it went. Lion Guardians Assistant Director Antony talks us through the process.
