http://www.TwomblyPublishing.com ( where you can buy the book "Horses and People Matching " for the lowest online price ) filmed this vid as an overview to a topic that is part science, part art, and part common sense. This is the common sense part of feeding :)

  • I love this video really tries to explain the horses differences, in my new book Natural Equine Remedies , my book explains how a horse digests, and how easy it is to maintain any horse on a natural diet, plus how to prevent founder with one simple mineral

  • @Naturalhorselb thank you very much :) I try to be helpful and practical...we all want the same thing :) a happy healthy horse :)

  • @twomblypublishing really should check out my new book on amazon has all the pages listed so you can read

  • Well put together vid

  • @babyhorsey6 absolutely... just go thu youtube messages... that's fine + easiest :) very glad to help :)

  • @twomblypublishing It's wonderful that people like you are trying to help others take proper care of their horses. I have a few questions, so I'll email you if that's ok.

  • @babyhorsey6 my pleasure... stay in touch and let me know if I can help you w anything else ... I promised someone to do a "diagonals" vid from atop the horse... so I'm at least one vid behind :) lol

  • @twomblypublishing Excellent advice and greatly appreciated!

  • @babyhorsey6 ALSO if you are turning your horse out to pasture do it GRADUALLY... a horse put out suddenly for hours and hours will be more prone to founder because of this dramatic change!

  • @babyhorsey6 re pasture; the same as judging hay.... common sense will go a long way. if you mow your pastures regularly it will inhibit weed growth. do the pastures look like a field of wildflowers (bad) or green grasses ( good:). you still need to grain your horses a bit even on nice pasture because of added nutrition that may not be in the local soil. ( around here we lack vitamin E & selenium) you can add supplements to your horses grain as well if needed . good luck :)
